Describe the driveway width, slope, surface, overhead clearance, and whether a truck can turn around—if the vehicle must remain at the street, give the carry distance and any gate or walkway between parking and the entrance.
Floor and entry protection should match the day’s weather—keep the path clear, identify any belongings sensitive to temperature or moisture, and tell the crew if a covered staging area is unavailable at either address.
Confirm whether the property has a dock, marked loading area, permit process, or time-limited curb space—reserve what the property requires and provide the route from that point to the unit, office, or house entrance.
Carry keys, identification, medication, valuables, chargers, important documents, and the items needed for the first night—add property contacts and access confirmations so they remain available even if the main load is delayed.
Use room names that appear on both boxes and doors—mark the furniture position before delivery and choose which room should be usable first—keep one person available to answer placement questions while unloading is underway.

I needed help loading a truck. They sent two very capable and professional movers to do the job. They said the guys were their normal crew. They did good work. Four hour minimum, but worth it.
