Check where a moving vehicle may legally stop, whether space must be reserved, and how far that point is from the door—tell the move coordinator about time limits, permits, narrow streets, or a loading area shared with other residents.
Use room names that appear on both boxes and doors—mark the furniture position before delivery and choose which room should be usable first—keep one person available to answer placement questions while unloading is underway.
Contact the move coordinator immediately with the new date, the reason for the change, and any property deadline that remains fixed—availability has to be checked again, and a building reservation or key handoff does not automatically move with the booking.
Count the flights, note tight turns or low clearances, and estimate the walk from the truck to the door—mention exterior steps, uneven paths, and furniture that may not fit the normal route so the crew can plan before arrival.
Keep them away from open doors, carrying paths, ramps, and the vehicle—arrange a closed room or off-site care, and make sure the crew knows about any animal that could enter the work area unexpectedly.

I needed help loading a truck. They sent two very capable and professional movers to do the job. They said the guys were their normal crew. They did good work. Four hour minimum, but worth it.
